I’m a queer parent and an ongoing student of the body, somatics* and the cyclical nature of things. I explore these through my vocation as a bodyworker, the practice of parenting myself and my child, my tarot and astrology studies and perhaps most importantly, a practice of sitting with wonder and the unknowable. I am a registered massage therapist and possess an undergraduate degree in Women’s and Gender Studies and continue to explore critical theory and the lived ways that the personal is political.
*Somatics is a field within bodywork and movement studies that emphasizes internal physical perception and experience.
I am passionate about deepening my understanding of relationality in all areas of my life and unlearning toxic individualism birthed through supremacist systems of knowing and being. I am learning about accountability as a white, able bodied person and unraveling limiting categorizations of gender and appearance on the body.
I am leaning towards a more curious, open-ended and light-hearted approach to life and to increasing my capacity for comfort in not knowing and not seeking easy answers or solutions to the complexities of this human existence. I believe we all have a right to safety, pleasure, shared joy and a future worth living and that these are values worth fighting and loving for.
I practice massage and bodywork as a ritual and offering of gratitude and appreciation for what your body is, has been, and will be. I believe that our bodies are fascinating mysteries, and that they hold far more wisdom than our intellect is capable of receiving. I approach treatment from my formal training in recognizing and treating tissue and movement dysfunction and imbalances whilst creating space for the understanding that there are always unseen and unknowable aspects in how our bodies function as an integrative whole. I believe our body systems are quite sophisticated at repair and reintegration when given the time and space to do so and all of our unique bodily experiences and expressions are just as worthy of that space.
I have encountered many folks who believe tissue therapies must hurt to be effective, in my experience this is not the case in all (if not most) circumstances. In fact, I have found gentle modalities often to be more effective in allowing the body to soften and the nervous system to adapt to changes in the tissue. I am committed to working in collaboration with my clients to discover what works best for their body and some people require firmer pressure to achieve a sense of relief and release in the tissue. In long term work with an individual, I aim to encourage increased sensitivity and awareness of the body where less force is needed.
I offer therapeutic massage therapy services combining myofascial, Swedish and medical massage techniques as well as further training in subtler forms of bodywork including craniosacral therapy and Reiki. I have over a decade of hands-on experience serving diverse clientele and have developed a unique, intuitive style over that time. My focus and intention is to facilitate an enjoyable experience of sensing and being in the body and for clients to leave with a feeling of groundedness, increased well-being and connection. I also work with clients to develop practical tools to manage pain and discomfort in their daily lives through breathwork, remedial exercises and body sensing techniques.

I study esoteric and archetypal language as tools to open myself to new questions to explore through embodiment and relationship. I love to be in conversation with others about these topics and to offer what I have learned through my own studies and practices to see the magic in the so-called mundane and to deepen self-understanding. My astrological lineage is informed heavily by the works of Demetra George and the modern revival of Hellenistic astrology though I am also interested and influenced by humanistic and shamanistic traditions as well. My tarot deck has been a companion since my early teens though I began studying and working with it more intensely as I was looking for more support in my journey to becoming a parent. I believe tarot can reflect to us so many of the unseen but extremely universal intangible realities of being human and that once we unpack our conditioned perceptions and reactions to tarot archetypes we can truly liberate and birth ourselves into completely new ways of being and perceiving the world. I do not read tarot or birth charts as a form of fortune telling or from a future oriented perspective. My readings are conducted in a conversational manner aiming to open you to deeper curiosity and support in self tending and exploration. I strongly encourage self-sovereignty and individuals are encouraged to think critically and receive only what is perceived as helpful and supportive in a reading. Tarot and astrology readings are in no way a substitute for consultation with a qualified mental health professional.
